• A safety chain permanently secured to a shackle acts as a safety tether in the event the grip disengages
• NOTE: The gripping power of the strand pullers is greatly reduced if either the top or bottom groove of the jaw, or the strand itself, is coated with oil, grease, or paraffin. Follow proper cleaning procedures to remove debris accumulation in the grip of the puller.
